We only collect information that is necessary for the lawful purpose of providing our services and complying with New Zealand law.

For Purchase Transactions (Legal Requirement): Under the Secondhand Dealers and Pawnbrokers Act 2004, we are legally required to record your:
* Full name, contact address, and date of birth.
* A copy of a valid photographic ID (Passport or NZ Driver License).

 

Indirect Collection:  If we are working with an executor or family member, we may receive information about the original owner of the assets to verify the legal right to sell.

Why We Collect This Information
To provide our service: To contact you, assess your items, and coordinate the clearance of your unit or home.
Legal Compliance: To maintain a "Dealers Record" as required by the NZ Police for all second-hand trade transactions.
Safety & Security:To protect both our business and our clients during on-site visits.
